I want to save text (but also be able to embed/attach pictures) and be able to access and work on them from any platform (iPad, android phone/pad, mac laptop). If Google is doing it, I'm sure everyone is.Įssentially what I'd like to do is have something like Microsoft OneNote that works on iOS, android, and OS X. This means that while your content may be "private" there is a ad profile based on the content and the content can be reverse engineered on a high-level. I'm nearly certain Google is scanning for keywords within your google docs for ad purposes. ![]() The primary reason is that I simply don't trust evernote or any of these other cloud hosting companies. Ideally I'd like to host the files on my own home server using my home internet connection (not sure if I have a static IP with my new ISP but if necessary I'll pay to get one). I haven't used evernote personally but from what I understand the functionality is exactly what I want. ![]()
